I have always had a passion for creating and baking. It must
be a family thing because my earliest memories are of my Grandma Marj baking homemade apple pies, and I have a
distinct memory
of the wonderful smell that filled her home
as they baked.
Being a stay at home mum with my two beautiful children – Fletcher and Tilly for 5 years and watching them create, laugh
and imagine made me realise I needed to put the laughter,
mess and creativity back in my world.
So we began, at home, baking from the family kitchen creating gorgeous cupcakes and cookies and attending the Farmer’s Market at Epic every Saturday for 12 months. From there Cherry Seed was supported and encouraged by wonderful, loyal customers. The demand grew and so, the shop opened!
We have created a unique, cosy, yet simple little shop in the old Ginninderra Village at Gold Creek. Attention to detail, quality fresh products and going back to basics in this fast world we have created, is the focus of Cherry Seed. We believe in taking the time to celebrate life and it’s simple beauties, finding a special place, getting all your precious things out of the cupboard, putting your best linen on the table and pouring a cup of tea. Enjoy a tea party with family and friends, enjoy the simplicity of just being.
Come in and visit us soon, best wishes
